Krang Suri waterfall

Krang Suri must already be on your list if you're looking for information for a trip in Meghalaya. Emerald blue water and cliff dives are the epitomai of the waterfall universe and this one has the best of both. There are professional guards for overall security available so don't think twice before taking the leap (with a life jacket, of course).

Moopun waterfall

Moopun waterfall is a place tucked away among rolling hills and remote villages. It requires a trek before you can get your feet in the sand-based waterfall but it absolutely worth it. There are two levels to this waterfall, one is a smaller one whereas the second one is a higher plunge off the cliff of the first one. They're both great and we recommend going to both of them. Don't get tired after the first one, you'll regret it when back home.

Drive through the west Jaintia hills

The roads that lead to Nh7 music festival in November, the winding valleys of West Jaintia hills where the sun is at your eye level and the spirits higher than the clouds (literally, cause you are above them). You can explore this entire region on wheels and on foot without getting bored for a minute. There are plenty of local outlets that serve the traditional dishes and you must stop at one of them. The hygiene levels are great so don't refrain from stopping at smaller shops, that's where you will get an authentic experience.
