Visit the Tripple falls

As the name suggests, it is a three-tier waterfall and an ideal destination for trekkers. Located in Seithekima village, these three glistening water streams trickling down from a height of 280 ft to a natural pool are irresistibly gorgeous to look away from. Travellers often themselves stuck to its sigh and when they do look away they can see the other travellers doing the same. It's quite the conversation starter here. The area is maintained by the tourism department of Nagaland.

Visit Nagaland Zoological Park

This affluent biodiversity is the pride of Dimapur, and Nagaland alike. It is a great location recreational activities and acts as a conservation centre for entire Northeast India with its vast multitude of birds, reptiles, mammals, medicinal herbs and trees. The zoological park is home to various birds of the Himalayan region like Partridges, Parrotbill, Laughingthrush, Fulvetta and Nuthatch. There are almost 500 species of birds alone in the region. The park is mostly covered in evergreen forests with traces of temperate forests in bits and pieces. The path that leads to Dimapur divides the fields in such a way that every dissected piece resembles a work of art. This place will reassure you that certain things like lying in the grass or by the riverbanks are by no means a waste of time, rather they're ways to ensure that the time ahead in your journey isn't wasted on unnecessary things.

Explore Chumukedima village

The ancient village of Chumukedima is situated on the southern end of the Naga hills. It gives a panoramic view of Dimapur city and is home to numerous waterfalls scattered all around. It is also known to be a growing urban hub in the territory of Nagaland as the locals speak English everywhere and the services are easy to access. The village is at a distance of 24 kilometres from the headquarters of Dimapur.
