Surrounded by a towering pine tree forest that notches sunlight like artwork, Black Bridge Resort in our opinion is a must-visit while in Meghalaya and has always provided the best experiences to our guests. This Scottish style countryside resort is a textbook version of the best campsites and one of the first places you see after passing through Shillong city as you venture deeper into the wilderness. Waking up and unzipping your rooftop tent opens gates to a whole new world in the morning. We call it a dreamscape for the lifelong memories we have created here.

Make sure you inform him about your arrival and meals before 3 PM as he gets you fresh ingredients and meat for the same. He is also a great conversationalist and will tell you interesting stories about the land and people that you can't get anywhere else.
You can take short hikes and walks to locations with surreal views around the campsite. The rolling hills that form the backdrop have cool spots where you can chill for the day and get a different perspective of the land from that angle. Most guests are surprised by the sheer beauty this place offers, no matter where you look at it from
Black Bridge Resort has the best night skies imaginable and you can see the arms of the milky way galaxy on extremely clear nights. The temperature can get to 1-5 degree celsius during winter and you can see a thin layer of snow on the grass and trees in the campsite on mornings which is a sight to behold. Taking a quick dip in the river stream along the campsite is the best way to start your day.
