Visit Kaziranga National Park

Situated in Assam and covering an area of around 430 sq. km, Kaziranga National Park is known for its one-horned rhinoceroses. Not just this, it’s a vibrant and beautiful Tiger Reserve that holds significant importance in the wildlife map of India. Dubbed the ‘Serengeti of the East,’ this reserve is blessed with a healthy and diverse range of geographical features, and the reserve makes it an excellent place to spot rare species. This park serves as a perfect place for vacations for family and friends for whom the park offers a plethora of attractions and activities to enjoy. You can get around the national park by jeep or elephant safari, the latter offering better proximity to view the animals in their natural habitat.

Boat safari

An exciting boat safari through the mingling waters of the Dhansari and Brahmaputra River with plenty of freshwater dolphin sightings. You can spot swimming elephants, wild buffaloes, tigers, deers, occasionally rhinos, water monitor lizards, beavers, monkeys, turtles, eagles, vultures, storks, kingfishers and more. The safari can be 2-3 hours long for you to be able to enjoy seeing all the animals in their natural habitat. Relax in the comfortably cushioned armchairs built on the boats to slice through the pristine waters of the rivers bringing back memories and pictures of a unique natural experience. The Brahmaputra River is the only other river apart from the Zambezi River in Africa, where such a wonderful experience can be enjoyed.
