Road to Traveller's Nest is a scenic drive as you see Meghalaya blooming in its natural elements. You travel cross many small towns and villages that have their unique ways of life which make for a spectacular drive to Traveller's Nest. On reaching the place you will immediately notice the huge rocks, green lands and small lakes that surround the village. You can choose from a range of activities and decide the best way to spend your time. It's a great fit for family settings and young explorers. Distance/Time from Guwahati: 165 km / 4 and a half hour drive

Swim in any of the 27 ponds

You can swim in the neighbouring ponds and relax after a long day of trekking and off-roading along the hillsides! Our guests keep themselves busy by seeing how many ponds they can take a dive in during their stay here.



Kayaking

You can rent kayaks and go for a stroll in these ponds. Make sure you stretch yourself out before getting into one as it is physical exertion and we wouldn't want you to be reminded of the muscle aches from post-gym sessions. Make sure you carry a GoPro to record your memories from the kayak sessions.



Hike to the hill-top

The clouds and the peaks intermingle to create a scene which looks more like a painting which enhances the natural elements of this campsite. We highly recommend hiking up to the top of the hill and just taking the view in. It's okay if you leave your phone or camera behind, the eyes do a great job.
